The food is plentiful and extremely well presented. Service was good and the ambiance is always well received Unfortunately 1890 has removed their excellent béarnaise sauce which I was looking forward to having on my fillet.

The service at this restaurant was impeccable. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. She was there when we needed her and left us alone to enjoy our meal. She explained the menu well and offered suggestions. The ambiance of the restaurant was good, with piano music playing in the background at just the right volume. The deco was good and brought warmth to the seating. The food was good. My wife's filet, cooked medium, was a good thickness and cooked perfectly. My filet, ordered medium well, was not near as good as it was overcooked and was so thin it reminded me of a steak from Sizzler. As I have a policy of not sending food back, I ate it without registering a complaint. The salad and sides were good and the cheesecake for dessert was delicious. Overall, it is a good place to eat if you can afford the pricey menu. The meal was enjoyable and I would recommend 1890 for special occasions or if you have a fat wallet, dinner anytime.

The food and service was phenomenal! The manager (Martha) made us feel important and was so friendly to us. We celebrated our 47th anniversary and they made it so special with sparklers on our dessert. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to all our friends.

A real treat in Granbury, especially if you're looking for a nice dinner before the show. 6 out of 8 of us had steak and they were cooked to the proper temperature. Service was excellent too. Located in an old building on the square in town. If you do come before the show, be sure and call for reservations.

Amazing! We've eaten at Eighteen Ninety a number of times. Each time has been fabulous and tonight was no different. Three of us ate here on a Friday night at 5:30 ahead of a concert nearby at the Granbury Opera House. Once seated, our server, Kendall, was there with water and took our drink order. Kendall was super pleasant and very knowledgeable about the dishes. We ordered the Escargot appetizer and at Kendall's suggestion, we added the lump crab meat. Wow, what a great appetizer. Our pre-dinner cocktails were great too. I had their Old Fashioned. Always real good and my wife had a Cosmopolitan - also tasty. My son had the Potato Leek Soup and the Shrimp and Grits and he said they were both fabulous. My wife and shared the Wedge Salad and the Beef Filet. They offer two types of plate sharing. We opted for the version that allows each of us to get 2 full sides. They even offer to have each of our portion of the filet to be cooked differently. The salad, steak and sides were great. With the appetizer and salad, we didn't finish our steak or sides, but they're going to make a nice snack, breakfast or lunch at home. Of course, we had to shop at the Eighteen Ninety store where we replenished some Premium A White Balsamic vinegar, some Salt-Free Garlic and Herb seasoning, and some Garlic Finishing Salt. Looking forward to our next visit to Eighteen Ninety in Granbury.

We ate here for dinner on Friday night and enjoyed it. The ambiance of the restaurant was solid, and our waitress Jessica did a great job. Mackenzie was very friendly as well. As for the food, it was delicious! The spinach & artichoke dip with crab on top was absolutely money. The wedge salad was solid as well, and the center cut filet was very tasty. We would eat here again for sure.
